Sample Gift Language

The donor who creates a fund at the Foundation during his or her lifetime signs a gift agreement that spells out the terms of the fund.

When the gift that creates the fund is made through the donor’s estate, we suggest that the will, revocable trust, or beneficiary designation include language making the gift to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, and that the terms of the fund be spelled out in a separate gift agreement.

A donor has many options when it comes to creating a fund. We welcome the opportunity to discuss these options with you or your client, and to send you draft gift agreement language geared to the options chosen.

You may also use one of the samples below, but please note they do not include all available options.

For more information, contact Mary Kay Mark, director of gift planning.
